STEELER’S HARRISON AGREES TO PAY FINES IN ADVANCE

James Harrison

Oft fined Pittsburgh Steeler Linebacker James Harrison has worked out an agreement with NFL Commissioner to pay all his fines for the rest of the season in advance.  “I just decided it would be much easier for me to pay upfront.”  “This way I can qualify for the 10% discount offered by The Commissioner’s Office.’  Harrison who has already been fined $125,000 for a variety of questionable hits this season told reporters at the Steeler’s Practice Facility that he had already received the coupon payment book in the mail and was making out the first installment.  The Steeler front office had no comment but, Harrison’s teammate Hines Ward indicated he favored the idea of a prepayment plan and would consider the idea himself should he be fined by the league.
