Longtime wrestling promoter Vince McMahon has been selected to moderate the first presidential debate tomorrow. McMahon was selected in order to boost ratings and according to sources, make the damn thing interesting. Known for his confrontational style, McMahon is expected to keep a tight rein on the two candidates, as the election draws near.
“A presidential debate is a lot like a wrestling match,” McMahon stated. “You have two bitter enemies facing off in a match to the death.” “Well, political death anyway,” he added. “The stage is very much like the ring and I am much like the referee.” “I just hope nobody hits anybody in the head with a microphone, or tosses powder in their face,” said McMahon.
